(NE PAS) TOUCHER in its French title is an exhibition I curated part of Avant Première 2014 (FR), when I was studying Graphic Communication. This is a festival organized by the school’s students themselves, and was made up by a team of around 20 curators for that year – each of them got their own space to display their intentions.
My call for projects specified my intention to exhibit artworks playing with the notion of interactivity – be it digital, analog or mechanical. In the end, I have exhibited 11 different projects of 8 students (including myself). DO (NOT) TOUCH had a misleading name and scenography – such as the safety lines and signs, to challenge the audience to still engage with the artworks despite their doubts.
